Interpreter
Those who are not proficient in one another’s language and yet still want the guarantee that they will understand and be understood can call upon the services of an interpreter, who will faithfully reproduce the oral wording of a speaker in another language.
An interpreter (or a team of interpreters) is often set to work at international meetings or congresses, such as European works councils or conferences on development cooperation.
At these events, an interpreter will reproduce exactly what the speaker is saying from a booth with a delay of only a few seconds, including the same nuances, only in another language. This way the meeting is not unnecessarily delayed due to linguistic issues. Leave nothing to chance and ask for an interpreter !
